LINKEDIN – WHERE DO I START?

LinkedIn has over 135 million professionals signed up globally, more than 6 million of which are in UK – and two new members sign up every second!
As if these statistics were not enough to prove its worth to business, and marketing specifically, consider this – more than four billion searches for individuals are performed each year! When your profile comes up in searches, do you think it is sufficiently impressive?
So how can you, and your company, rise above the noise? Just as a slapdash approach to your website’s content, layout and ease of use can turn a visitor away, never to be seen again, the same can be said of a poor LinkedIn presence.
Put it this way – a poor LinkedIn presence is the equivalent of the “website under construction” pages that used to be surprisingly commonplace a few years ago, also known as “please go elsewhere”!
